In honor of one of our first volunteers who spent her last year of life volunteering and serving the community despite her age, battle with cancer, and overcoming the Pandemic. Be sure to attach all supporting documents of your current and previous copy of high school transcript, GED, and/or College transcripts to the email. Book & A Basket with POLB!
This year the Casa Bella Foundation has teamed up with The Port Of Long Beach to provide the youth “A Book & A Basket” this Easter season. The book of the season is an “ocean” themed based curriculum, as The Port Of Long Beach encourages the youth to learn and explore careers by The Port. Our ocean provides tons of opportunities for generations to come and they have an overall plan called the “Healthy Harbor Program” that explains the measures on how we can preserve and care for our nearest ocean.

Thanksgiving Meals
Inflation is at an all time high, and with prices on groceries has an average working family struggling to keep kids nourished. Join our village this holiday season in providing at least 50 families and children a thanksgiving meal. Help us dress the table of others as we prepare to dress our own. Here is how you can get involved.
Purchase pre-filled bags by donating. Donate through our secure and official donation page here — each bag feeds a family of 4-6 and averages $50-$100 in groceries. Receipt of donation given at checkout.
2. Ask for a bag to fill up yourself! Fill up bags with your family’s thanksgiving dinner favorites. For a list of ideas please see below. Bags due Nov 13th for the first distribution & Nov 20th for the second distribution.

We will be pre-selling our collaborative candles. Casa Bella Foundation x Moco Candles. We have worked with Moco Candle to create our very own signature scent of Lavender. A lavender scented candle can lighten up just about any space with it’s beautiful aroma and set the room for a relaxing ambiance. This candle hits sweet floral notes while mixing in notes of fresh evergreen woods which is perfect for this Holiday season.
We have created a limited collection of 30 candles as a fundraiser for The Casa Bella Foundation. Each candle is a $30 donation which is a direct funding for our yearly programs which include our Christmas Toy Santa Stop, our baby bundles, our rescue bundles, and our Back to School backpacks.
To get your hand on one of these special candles, please attend our Thanksgiving Flower Workshop. Floral workshop entrance does not need to be purchased in order to show up and purchase a candle at the door. A discounted price of $25 will be given to those who attend the Workshop and Pre-Purchase the candle as a bundle on our eventbrite page.
As a part of our #GivingTuesday we will be collaborating with coffee shops near you 11/29 to launch our Casa Bella Candles as a $30 donation toward The Casa Bella Foundation. List of collaborating shops will be posted below shortly.

Join us for a morning & evening session full of community and charity. Grab your Pumpkin Spice Latte's & a friend to stop in for a step-by-step floral arrangement workshop. Build and customize your very own Cinderella pumpkin flower arrangement for your Thanksgiving Table. Small Cinderella pumpkin's and an array of florals will be provided, ribbons can be brought in to customize your arrangement. Learn, create, customize while giving back this holiday season! 100% of the proceeds will be donated to The Casa Bella Foundation, and going directly toward their annual Christmas Santa Stop for children in need. Lemonade Day Fundraiser!
We have teamed up with a little entrepreneur this year to fundraise and “give back to the community”, as she says. Makani is a 5 year old selling lemonade at this years Lemonade Day in Lomita, CA. She will be selling old fashioned lemonade “made with love” and 50% of the proceeds, she has pledged to donate to The Casa Bella Foundation. Come out, stop by, & support in celebrating such a fun & charitable cause.

Migrant Children Backpack Drop Off

Baby Bundle & Toy Drive-Thru
Today we will be partnering up with the South Bay African American Infant and Maternal Mortality Community to Celebrate Black Maternal Health Week!
In honor of this week we will be handing out 100 of our baby bundles to pre-registered babies & mothers in need. The SBAAIMMC will be providing a toy for each baby bundle.

Casa Bella Soccer Field Day!

Screening/Check In Process:
Sign in with our Volunteer Coordinator Ingrid Martin
Temperature check each child.
Ask a series of Covid Questions.
Supply each child with a new mask & name tag.
Children must be accompanied by one legal guardian or adult. The adult will be screened as well and able to wait in the parent waiting section which is socially distanced.
Photo waiver will be given and hand sanitizer will be distributed prior to entering the facililty.
Each kid is required to wear a mask unless he or she is getting a drink of water.
Each kid will be socially distanced from one another.
Children will be broken up into groups of 5. There will be 5+ coaches, one for each group. 5:1 ratio.
Field day will be 1 hour long, children will go through 10 minute skill rotation. Each group of 5 will be rotated every 10 minutes to learn a new drill.
Children will be given a jersey, cleats if they fit, soccer balls, and goody bags.
All equipment will be disinfected prior to the start of event time and we will encourage children to not touch the ball with their hands, or place hands in their mouth.

Santa will be dropping off toys for kids to choose from and will be taking pictures with kids ( no contact, behind a plexi glass ) before leaving to the North Pole.
