2020 in Review

Dear Village,
2020 has brought on many challenges for many communities. It was through your generosity that we were able to make a difference in the life of so many children & families here in our intercity and in Guatemala. This year we were called to help one another through tumultuous times & you answered that call. We are grateful to have you apart of our village where we give children a new chance at life. In such a short amount of time we have moved mountains for children & families.
Together we raised $3,000 in a Race Against Child & Adult Trafficking
Together we packed up 250 backpacks for kids in need at El Gabilan Elementary school, kids of Salinas Farm Workers.
Together we put together a Covid Rescue Mission of 100 baby bundles in collaboration with Baby Bum for the Bellflower, Long Beach, & LA Area.
Together we donated 100 baby bundles to Huntington Park Families at Gage Middle School in collaboration with The Dodgers Foundation.
Together we donated 100 baby bundle to South LA children & families to the South Bay African American Infant & Maternal Mortality Organization.
Together we donated 50 Thanksgiving Meal Kits for families in need of a Thanksgiving meal this Covid season in collaboration with Big Sunday.
Together we donated $1,000 to our Covid Relief Fund at our Guatemalan Sanctuary in Antigua, Guatemala.
Together we donated individual Rescue bundles of food, clothes, school supplies, and toys to local families in the LA & Long Beach Area.
Together we raised $1,400 for the Guatemala Storm Eta Relief Fund, going directly to families in need of relief during this crisis.
Together we gathered 300 toys for our annual Toys for Toddlers & Teens Christmas Drive for the Boys & Girls Club of Harbor City.
Together we helped 1,000+ children this year, and we are only just beginning…
